Sandor Delgado (born March 15, 1999 in Miami ) is an American track cyclist .
Athletic career
Sandor Delgado's father, Sandor Delgado sr., Was an active cyclist in his native Cuba . The son began with eleven years in cycling at the velodrome of Cooper City in Florida . In 2016 he finished third in the singles pursuit at the Pan American Junior Track Championships . The following year he won four national junior titles , in the sprint , in the keirin , in the 1000-meter time trial and in the team sprint with Weston Giem and Zachary Gottesman . In the team pursuit he was runner-up. He also started in the team sprint of the elite and finished third with Edward Horvet and Evan Thomson .
In 2018, Sandor Delgado became US sprint champion, and in 2019 team sprint.
