Sandrine Mauron (born December 19, 1996 ) is a Swiss football player . She has played in midfield at 1. FFC Frankfurt since 2019 . This was integrated into the Eintracht Frankfurt club in July 2020 .

Career

In her youth, Sandrine Mauron played football at FC Grandson-Tuileries and later at FC Yverdon Féminin . From the 2014/2015 season she played for FC Zurich women and during this time she achieved four Swiss championships and four cup wins. For the 2019/2020 season, she moved to the German Bundesliga for 1. FFC Frankfurt .

In July 2020, the 1. FFC Frankfurt in the club was Eintracht Frankfurt integrated and thus the women's football department forms of the association .

National teams

In 2015 she was able to take part in her first training sessions with the national team, but then dropped out for some time due to an injury.

Sandrine has been a member of the Swiss women's national football team since January 29, 2016 and made her debut at the Netherlands-Switzerland game on the bench as part of the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics in the Netherlands. On March 9, 2016, she played for the first international match in the last qualifying game against Norway and scored the first goal for the Swiss women in a 2-1 win.

The player was previously a member of the U-19 national team, with whom she played a number of matches in the context of the European Championship qualification, including in April 2015 against England as captain. Before that, she was a member of the U-17 squad.
