Career

societies

Martinez first played for SV Gläserzell and FV Horas before moving to 1. FFC Frankfurt in 2016 . In Frankfurt she was initially a U-17 junior and until October 2017 scored eleven goals in her twelve league appearances in the B-Juniorinnen-Bundesliga Süd . For the 2017/18 season she moved up to the squad of the second team, for which she made her debut on September 3, 2017 (1st matchday) in a 0-0 win against VfL Sindelfingen in the 2nd Bundesliga South . On February 18, 2018 (12th matchday) she was part of the first team in the 3-0 away win against 1.FC Köln and made her debut in the 68th minute with her substitution for Lise Munk at the age of 16 the Bundesliga . A good two months later, on April 22, 2018 (17th matchday), she was in the starting line-up for the first time in the 0-1 home defeat against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam .

National team

Martinez has been a regular member of the DFB's junior team since 2016 . She made her debut in the national jersey on April 27, 2016 in the U-15 national team's friendly against the Netherlands. In the game that ended in a 3-3 draw, the striker scored two of the three German goals. After contesting the Nordic Cup with the U-16 national team in 2017 , she qualified for the European Championship in Lithuania with the U-17 national team in 2018 . There she scored a brace on May 9, 2018 in the first group match against Finland after being 0-1 behind, securing the DFB team a 2-1 opening success. She took part in the U-19 European Championship in Scotland in 2019 and became Vice European Champion. In the semifinals against the Netherlands, she scored the goal as a substitute to make it 3-1.
