Alexandra Emmerling (born July 16, 1999 in Darmstadt ) is a German soccer player who last played for 1. FFC Frankfurt .

Career

Alexandra Emmerling began playing soccer at TSG Wixhausen in 2005 and has played competitive games for this club since November 28, 2006. Between 2011 and 2014 Emmerling played with the male D-Juniors of TSG Wixhausen and with a second play right with the U14 girls of SG Egelsbach . Alexandra Emmerling was a member of the Hessian national team from 2013 (U15) to 2015 (U18). At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, Emmerling moved to 1. FFC Frankfurt in the B-Juniorinnen-Bundesliga and won the South German Youth Championship with her team in the first year. In the 2016/17 season Emmerling moved up to the 2nd team and scored 5 goals in 20 games. As one of four second division players, Alexandra Emmerling signed a professional contract dated until June 2019 before the start of the 2017/18 season. Emmerling made his debut in the first team on October 9, 2016, during the second round of the DFB Cup at FV in Hegau and was also used in the following cup games. In the 2017/18 season Emmerling made a total of 6 first division appearances and made her league debut on November 5, 2017, the 7th matchday, at the home game of 1. FFC against Werder Bremen . Alexandra Emmerling made her starting XI debut on May 13, 2018 at the home game of 1. FFC against SC Freiburg . She turned down a new contract offer from the club after the 2019/20 season.

The passionate swimmer and skier has both feet and can bring her playful strengths to the attacking midfield as well as in storms.

Alexandra Emmerling completed the upper level of the Carl-von-Weinberg-Schule , a partner school of competitive sports as part of the elite school of sports in Frankfurt am Main, and obtained the general higher education entrance qualification there in 2017 at the age of 17 (Abitur G8).
