Verena Aschauer (born January 20, 1994 in Vienna ) is an Austrian soccer player .
Career
societies
Aschauer started playing soccer at the sports club in Groß-Enzersdorf in 2000 and later joined the youth teams of SV Essling and FC Stadlau in Vienna . In 2009 she was active for the first division club USC Landhaus Wien , before moving to Germany to join the Bundesliga club Herford SV in 2010 . A year later she was obliged by the second division club BV Cloppenburg, with whom she made promotion to the Bundesliga in the following season as the season winner North . After the immediate relegation of Cloppenburg, Aschauer moved to SC Freiburg . After Aschauer played 26 games for Freiburg in two years, she moved to the DFB Cup finalists SC Sand in July 2016 .
For the 2018/19 season she was signed by the German Bundesliga club 1. FFC Frankfurt , with whom she signed a contract valid until June 30, 2020.
In July 2020, the 1. FFC Frankfurt in the club was Eintracht Frankfurt integrated and thus the women's football department forms of the association .
National team
From 2009 to 2011 Aschauer played in the U-17 national team of Austria, in 2011 in the U-19 national team. On April 27, 2011 she made her debut in the senior national team of Austria against the Slovenian national soccer team .
At the European Women's Championship in the Netherlands in 2017 , she reached the semi-finals with the Austrian women's national team. The left-back was the only Austrian to be elected to the "eleven of the tournament".
