Sandro Foda (born December 28, 1989 in Mainz ) is a German football player on the position of midfielder .

life and career

Sandro Foda started playing football in 1997 at SK Sturm Graz in Austria , as his father Franco was initially a player and later as a coach until 2012. After a few years in the club's youth teams, he joined the amateur team that played in the third-rate regional league center . In 2006 Foda was in the squad of the Bundesliga team of Sturm Graz for the first time , where he was trained by his father, as with the amateurs.

In the 2007/08 season Sandro Foda came for the first time with the professionals when he came on in the Bundesliga game against SV Ried when the score was 5-0 in the 89th minute for Samir Muratović . In 2010/11 he was Austrian football champion with Sturm Graz. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season he moved to the second highest division for TSV Hartberg . Since January 2014 he has been involved with the Styrian national league club SV Wildon .

In his first season in Wildon he completed 13 national league appearances in which he remained goalless. From the following season 2014/15 Sandro Foda was used as a regular player in all 26 league games of the team, which is now playing in the Oberliga Mitte-West, and achieved third place with the team in the final ranking. Since the 2016/17 season he has been back in the national league with the team.
