The hypogeum of Sas Puntas is a rock grave with a front stele ( Italian Domus a prospetto architettonico ) near Tissi , south of Sassari , in Logudoro in the province of Sassari in Sardinia .

Sas Puntas is one of around 50 prehistoric rock tombs with a front stele carved into the rock , as is otherwise typical for the giant tombs of the island. Such orthostat graves (actually orthostats imitating graves) are more common in the limestone areas of Logudoro: Campu Luntanu , Mesu 'e Montes , Molafa , Sa Rocca and Su Lampu , Sa Figu , Su Carralzu , Sos Furrighesos .

The east-facing complex lies on a low limestone wall in the middle of a slope that forms a terrace in front of the complex , on which the hypogeum of Monte Sant'Antiogu, near Ossi, is a little further away .

Sas Puntas is well preserved and in the portal stele has a narrow high entrance to a chamber with alcove-like side niches. Next to the front stele is the large smoothed arch of an exedra imitation . Above the portal stele there are two holes for the reception of Baityloi , between which there is a large rectangular recess of unknown function.
