Sascha Luder

Sascha Luder (* 1987 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actor and musical performer .

Life

As a child, Sascha Luder wanted to become an animal researcher or a tram driver. Out of an interest in biology, he temporarily bred praying mantises . At the age of 13 he started dancing ( Latin ) and was an active tournament dancer for many years. During his school days he took singing lessons at his high school.

Luder completed his training as an actor and musical performer from 2009 at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich .

He had his first solo appearance in 2009 as Gerold in the play “Fire and Flame” on the Waldmannsburg open-air stage. During his training Luder took part in several productions at the Munich Akademietheater and the Deutsches Theater in Munich , including as a teenager Ernst Robel in the musical “ Spring Awakening ”, as well as in “Orphée” by Jean Cocteau and in “ Dracula ”. In the 2011/12 season he played Hippolytos in “ Phädra ” in a production by the Schwaben State Theater in Memmingen and also made a guest appearance with this production at the Bavarian Theater Days . Shortly before completing his studies, he got an engagement as Bernardo for the musical production " West Side Story " at the Regensburg Theater . He graduated in 2013.

In the 2013/14 season he was part of the cast of the musical " Fame " at Theater Basel . In 2014 he appeared in the role of Bill in the musical " Kiss Me, Kate " at the Bad Hersfeld Festival . In 2015 he appeared for the first time at the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival , where he took part in the musical productions " Singing in the Rain " (as Don Lockwood) and " Flashdance " (as Joe).

From 2015 to 2017 he appeared in the musical " Bodyguard " in the Cologne Musical Dome . In June / July 2017 he was a guest at the Magdeburg Theater as Bernardo in “West Side Story” at the DomplatzOpenAir. As Bernardo, he then appeared on stage at the Dortmund Theater in the 2018/19 season . In summer 2019 he appeared again at the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival, a. a. in the role of the young Italian-American Tony Manero in the musical " Saturday Night Fever ".

Luder also appeared in front of the camera in some short films. He had an episode role in the TV series “ Hubert ohne Staller ” (first broadcast: February 2019). In the 10th season of the ZDF crime series “ Die Chefin ” (2019) he also had an episode role as a former student and male victim of sexual assault. He also worked as an advertising actor , voice actor and speaker.

His hobbies include learning languages. In addition to English and French, he also speaks Spanish and Swedish. Luder lives in Berlin.
