Sottrup Sogn ( German Satrup ) is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in North Schleswig in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Nybøl Herred in what was then Aabenraa-Sønderborg Amt , then to Sundeved Kommune in what was then Sønderjyllands Amt , which was merged into the "new" Sønderborg Kommune in the Syddanmark region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .
1966 inhabitants live in the parish, 1430 of them in Vester Sottrup (as of January 1, 2020).
