Sundeved Kommune (German Kommune Sundewitt ) was a commune in Sønderjyllands Amt ( North Schleswig ) in southern Denmark . It started working in 1968 two years before the great local reform in Denmark , when the parishes ( Danish : Sogn ) Nybøl Sogn , Sottrup Sogn and Ullerup Sogn merged. The municipality adopted the historical name of the landscape between Apenrader Förde , Alsensund and Flensburg Fjord , although it only includes part of it . In 2007 it merged with the municipalities of Gråsten , Broager , Sønderborg , Sydals , Augustenborg and Nordborg in the large municipality of Sønderborg with over 70,000 inhabitants.
