The Rauti is a stream in the Swiss canton of Glarus . It rises above Näfels in several water-rich springs. This water comes very probably from the Haslensee in endorheic Oberseetal , which is only slightly above the source and due to a landslide that blocked the drain into Linthtal.
To the northwest of Näfels, the Rauti passes the Rautifeld , an agricultural zone . Here the stream crosses the water-filled tank ditch of the Näfels barrier on a bridge and takes in the Mühlebach at Näfels and the local village stream at Niederurnen . Together they flow through an industrial canal and flow into the Linth Canal at Ziegelbrücke .
