The Sauves (also called Prepson ) is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the western municipality of Amberre , generally drains to the northwest and flows into the Dive as a right tributary after around 23 kilometers in the municipality of Moncontour . The Sauves mainly crosses the Vienne department on its way , but also touches the neighboring Deux-Sèvres department in the area of ​​the municipality of Marnes .
