The Schönbrunn Palace Bridge is a bridge over the Vienna River and connects the Vienna district of Hietzing with the districts of Penzing and Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus .

At the place of today's Schönbrunn Palace Bridge, which connects the main entrance of Schönbrunn Palace with the left bank of the Vienna River, there was a bridge by the beginning of the 18th century at the latest. In the 19th century there were also two footbridges that were located 200 to 300 meters away in front of and behind the castle bridge and were possibly used by staff and suppliers of the castle.

In the course of regulating the Vienna River, the old bridge was demolished and a representative, 100-meter-wide vaulted bridge was built in 1900. In 2005, the bridge was redesigned, including the removal of the parking spaces in the square-like central zone. Two stone sphinxes and two lion figures by Johann Wilhelm Beyer , which were created in the 1770s and were enthroned on the bridgeheads of the bridge at that time, form the corner points of this area, which is surrounded by green strips on both long sides.
