The von Schardt , also Schard, Scharth, Schart, Schartt, Scharte, called von Gleina , were a Thuringian noble family, a branch line and the heirs of the Knights of Gleina .

history

After the male line of knights with Hermann von Gleyn († 1497) died out, his nephew Gebhardt Schart, known by Glina, took over the Bamberg fiefdom over the knight's seat. The four saddle houses went to other family members. Oberlehnsherr von Gleina bei Freyburg was the Archdiocese of Bamberg , which enfeoffed the noble lords of Querfurt , who in turn enfeoffed it as an afterfief to the Scharte. Manors in Gleina and Naundorf near Oschatz (1657–1691) with Casabra (1681) in the Oschatz office. Dietrich von Schart was a member of the Fruit Bringing Society in 1625 . In 1708, the ducal-Saxon-Eisenach thief August von Schardt († 1745, oo nn vom Thüna ) sold the family's remaining estate in Gleina and left the village. Friedrich Wilhelm von Schardt was a secret councilor and councilor and councilor in Halle from 1725–1745 . The chamberlain and castle captain Ludwig Ernst Wilhelm von Schardt was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge Anna Amalia to the three roses and the Order of Illuminati in Weimar . In 1675 the electoral Saxon was born in Vienna. Rittmeister Johann (v.) Schard (e) / Schardt zu Naundorf confirmed and renewed the knightly imperial nobility.

The notch had taken over the Gleina coat of arms: originally a plow share, which is accompanied by three roses (2: 1). Later, instead of the crowd, the blue shield shows an overturned golden heart shield or a bell with a clapper. Helmet: crowned, on it a peacock mirror.

The notch on Naundorf led in the coat of arms on red a lying silver ploughshare. On the crowned helmet with red and silver blankets, the band upright, between a black open flight.
