Routes to the summit

The summit can be reached in summer from the south from the Neualmgriess (parking lot on Ammerwaldstraße 1 km before the border) on the normal route. In winter, the Scheinbergspitz is a popular destination for ski tourers . The ascent takes place on skis over the relatively avalanche-safe east side to just below the summit (ski depot) and then from the north side (wire rope insured) to the summit.
