The place is one kilometer southwest of Kleinzerlang and nine kilometers north of Rheinsberg directly at the eponymous lock on the Hüttenkanal . The neighboring towns are Canow in the north, Kleinzerlang and Kolonie in the northeast, Adamswalde in the southeast, Zechlinerhütte in the southwest, Prebelow in the west and Grünplan in the northwest.
