Schmögelsdorf is an inhabited part of the municipality of Marzahna , a district of the city of Treuenbrietzen in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg .
The place is located southwest of the core town Treuenbrietzen on the B 2 . The border with the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt runs not far to the south.
On July 1, 1950, Schmögelsdorf was incorporated into Marzahna. Marzahna was incorporated into Treuenbrietzen on March 31, 2003.
