Niebelhorst is a district of the town of Treuenbrietzen in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg .
Geographical location and structure
Niebelhorst is located northeast of the city center. In the north is the Treuenbrietzener district Lühsdorf . This is followed clockwise by the districts of Kemnitz , Zülichendorf and Felgentreu of the Nuthe-Urstromtal community , the Treuenbrietzen districts of Bardenitz and Pechüle , the city center, the Schlalach district of the Mühlenfließ community and finally the Niebel district , which in turn belongs to Treuenbrietzen. The Nieplitzdamm leads coming from the northwest to the southeast through the town. It creates the connection to federal highway 2 and a country road in the west to Kemnitz and Bardenitz. In the northern part of the Friedrichsgraben drains into the Nieplitz .
history
The history of Niebelhorst is closely related to the founding of the neighboring Niebel. After Niebel came back into possession of the city in 1579, it founded the Niebelhorst Vorwerk in the same year . It was expanded on the initiative of Frederick the Great in the 18th century. In 1983 the place was connected to a central water supply.

Economy and Infrastructure
In addition to a few farms, there is a restaurant in the village.
The Nieplitzdamm runs through the village . In addition to some agricultural roads, this is the only connection between the village and the neighboring communities. The 545 and 546 bus routes operated by a public transport company connect the district with Treuenbrietzen and Beelitz.
