Lühsdorf is a district of the town of Treuenbrietzen in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg .
location
The place is on the county road K 6914. Not far to the south runs the state road L 80, to the west the B 2 .
history
During archaeological excavations, barrows were uncovered, with which a settlement of the district could already be proven in the Bronze Age . It is conceivable that the place was created in the second half of the 12th century. The city of Treuenbrietzen questions whether it was a Rundlingsdorf or not more of a Rundangerdorf . The first documentary mention is in 1375, when the place was under the rule of the Vogtei Trebbin . In the course of the centuries the spelling changed in part; so the place appeared as Luderstorp or Luderstorf . In the complete works of Anton Friedrich Büsching from the year 1775, Lühsdorf is already mentioned, while the name Liesdorf is found in the later Schmettauschen map series .
Around 1766 there was a major fire in the village, in which the majority of the buildings were destroyed. This also included the village church , which was then rebuilt. However, after around 100 years it had become dilapidated and had to be closed. A new building was delayed because the church wanted a larger building. In 1885 the last burial took place in the churchyard behind the former sacred building . In 1899, planning began for the new building, which was realized in 1901. Since the space on the village green was limited, the parish renounced a traditional easting and placed the altar on the north side. In 1925 the volunteer fire brigade was founded.
In 2003 the Lühsdorf was incorporated into Treuenbrietzen.
