Along with Pechüle, Klausdorf is one of the two districts of Bardenitz , a district of the town of Treuenbrietzen in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg .
Geographical location
Klausdorf is located southeast of the city center. In the north is the district of Bardenitz, in the east the town of Jüterbog and in the south and west of the Treuenbrietzen district of Frohnsdorf . The district is only a few square kilometers and extends along highway 812, which runs through the town in a north-south direction. Apart from a few country roads, it is the only noteworthy connection to the neighboring communities.
history
The first documentary mention comes from the year 1311. According to an information board in the village, there were already two village locations in the Middle Ages , which were recorded on a map from 1680 as the old village location and the new village location . In 1426 the Margrave Johann von Sachsen sold the place to the Zinna monastery . Between 1435 and 1452 the place fell desolate and was leased as Die wüsten mark und dorpstelle by the Cistercian monks to the farmers in neighboring Pechüle. The village church of Pechüle had already been located there since the first third of the 13th century , so the farmers decided not to build another sacred building in Klausdorf. They use the area as grazing land for their cattle. This situation remained unchanged for centuries until nine families from the Palatinate came to the region after the Reformation in 1748 . The settlement led to considerable resistance from the Pechül farmers, who fought for the rights to the pasture areas and even led to the deployment of twenty grenadiers from Treuenbrietzen.
In 1907, craftsmen began building the neo-baroque hall church , which was inaugurated a year later . It suffered considerable damage in both World War I and World War II .
1974 was carried incorporation of Klausdorf and Pechüle after Bardenitz. In the 1980s, experts carried out extensive amelioration in order to improve the soil conditions through technical cultural measures. During this time the residents of Klausdorf began to renovate the church, which was now dilapidated and threatened with demolition. In 1998 Klausdorf celebrated its 250th anniversary. On December 31, 2002 Bardenitz with Pechüle and Klausdorf became part of the city of Treuenbrietzen. In 2010 a support association was founded which has been committed to the renovation of the church since then.
