The Schneehüenerstock, also known as Unghürstöckli , is a mountain in the Glarus Alps with a height of 2773 m above sea level. M.

geography

The summit is northwest of the Oberalp Pass . The border between the two political communities Gurtnellen and Andermatt runs along the ridge .

Development

Valley stations (2018)

Today there are antenna systems on the mountain. A non-public cable car leads from Hauptstrasse 19 on the Oberalp Pass to the Schneehüenerstock, and since December 2018 also a public cable car from the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun .
