Schoval ( Hebrew שׁוֹבָל) Is a kibbutz in the northern Negev - desert in the Southern District of Israel . The kibbutz is located near the Bedouin city of Rahat and is under the jurisdiction of the B'nei Shimon regional administration .
The kibbutz was founded on October 6, 1946 as part of the Eleven Point Program in the Negev. The population of Schoval is 802 people (as of 2018), of which around 200 are kibbutz members.
