Sebastián Rakán Dubarbier Bruschini (born February 19, 1986 in La Plata ) is an Argentine football player with French roots. The striker has played in the Argentine Primera División for Estudiantes de La Plata since January 2017 .

Career

Dubarbier started his career in 2005 at Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata , but before that he played in the youth team. In 2007 it was awarded to Olimpo de Bahía Blanca . In January 2008 he moved to Romania to CFR Cluj for a transfer fee of 800,000 euros . On February 1, 2010, Cluj announced that Dubarbier would move to FC Lorient in France for an estimated fee of 1.5 million euros .

There he could not prevail in the following years and spent the entire 2011/12 season on loan, first with CD Tenerife , then with FC Córdoba . He then moved to the latter in summer 2012. In summer 2013, he joined UD Almería . Even after relegation in 2015 , he remained loyal to the club. After Dubarbier only played twice in the first half of the 2016/17 season due to injury, he returned to Argentina in early 2017 and signed with Estudiantes de La Plata .
