Sebastián Ortega (born June 13, 1987 ) is a Mexican ice hockey player who has been under contract with San Jeronimo in Mexico since 2013.

Career

Adrián Cervantes began his career as a hockey player with San Jeronimo. When the semi-professional league Mexicana Élite was founded in 2010 , he moved to the Zapotec Totems , one of the four founding clubs of the league. In 2013 he returned to San Jeronimo.

International

At junior level Ortega stood for the Mexican Under-18 selection at the 2003 World Cup in Division III and in the 2005 World Championship in Division II as well as the U20 selection at the World Championships Division III in 2004 and 2005 and the Division II in 2006 and 2007 on the ice.

With the men's national team , Ortega took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2006 , 2007 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2014 as well as Division III in 2005 . In 2008, 2009 and 2014 he was voted the best player on his team. He also represented his colors at the qualifying tournaments for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , 2014 in Sochi and 2018 in Pyeongchang .
