Sebastian Hellmann (born October 13, 1967 in Bielefeld ) is a German television presenter and commentator . He is the main presenter of the Bundesliga soccer team at Sky .

Life

Hellmann studied from 1991 to 1994 at the German Sport University Cologne . The focus of his studies was "Media and Communication". He completed his studies with a diploma. During his studies, he completed an internship in the sports archive of the WDR , worked as a freelancer in the sports department and for the private broadcasters RTL and Sat.1 . Since 1999 he has been working for the television station Premiere and its successor Sky Deutschland. He moderates the Bundesliga , UEFA Champions League and DFB Cup games for Sky Deutschland .

The Sky presenter also commented with Tom Bayer from 2006 to 2010 on the FIFA computer game series from EA Sports (PC and PlayStation 2 versions also in 2011). He also comments on FIFA 13 for the Wii .

In 2003 and 2005 he received the German Television Prize . On April 4, 2016 Hellmann was unanimously elected President of the Association of West German Sports Journalists (VWS). He succeeds Heribert Faßbender in this position.

Hellmann is a fan of Arminia Bielefeld .
