Sebastian Schmaus

Sebastian Schmaus (* 1983 ) is a neo-Nazi , was a politician of the right-wing extremist NPD and was active for the citizens' initiative Ausländerstopp (BIA) , for which he sat on the city council in Nuremberg after the 2008 local elections .

Life

Schmaus was responsible for a number of traffic offenses in his life. In 2002, he drove under the influence of alcohol and fell into a control, in 2004 he received a one-year driving ban and a three-month prison sentence on probation . In 2008 Schmaus drove a VW van and had 1.16 per mille. As a result, his driver's license was immediately revoked .

In 2010, Schmaus was on trial for assault and property damage . The Nuremberg public prosecutor's office charged him and two alleged accomplices of beating up a cyclist and damaging his camera. Schmaus was sentenced to a fine of 2,400 euros.

In 2012 Schmaus resigned from the NPD in order to organize according to his own statements "more in national free structures".

Citizens' initiative to stop foreigners

Schmaus was a member of the voter group “Citizens' Initiative Foreigners Stop”, which claims to be an allegedly non-partisan initiative to “protect Germans from foreign infiltration ” against the “prevailing integration and immigration policy” and was founded with the support of the NPD. For the group of voters, Schmaus sat for an electoral term as a city councilor in the Nuremberg town hall. In 2012 Schmaus no longer stood as a candidate for the BIA.

In 2009 Schmaus had to answer in court; he was sentenced to eight months probation and a fine of 6,400 euros. He had hounded against political opponents on the Internet and published their full names and addresses on the Anti-Antifa Nuremberg website. Some of the people published by Schmaus were subsequently the target of property damage.

In 2011 Schmaus was on trial for denigrating the state and its symbols . He had distributed anti- constitutional leaflets in 2009 .

According to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Schmaus was a supporter of the Franconian Action Front , which was banned in 2004, and, in addition to his city council work, was also a member of the Free Network South (FNS). Schmaus maintains contacts with other right-wing extremist parties and organizations abroad, such as the right - wing neo - Nazi Greek party Chrysí Avgí .
