Sebastiano Sanguinetti (born March 29, 1945 in Lula ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Tempio-Ampurias .

Life

Sebastiano Sanguinetti was ordained a priest on August 2, 1970 . After initially working as a parish priest, from 1987 he increasingly exercised managerial positions, including from 1991 to 1997 in the Catholic Action .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ozieri on March 27, 1997 . The episcopal ordination received his Cardinal Eduardo Francisco Pironio on 17 May of the same year; Co- consecrators were Ottorino Pietro Alberti , Archbishop of Cagliari , and Pietro Meloni , Bishop of Nuoro .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on April 22, 2006 Bishop of Tempio-Ampurias. From December 10, 2012 until the appointment of a new bishop in July 2015, he was also the Apostolic Administrator of Ozieri . In June 2016, Sanguinetti became an honorary citizen of Tempio Pausania .
