Secret Weapons Over Normandy is a video game for the Xbox , PlayStation 2 and Windows . It's about the aerial warfare in World War II .

This dogfight game is about the American pilot James Chase, who has been flying as a fighter pilot for the RAF since 1940 to support Great Britain in the war against the Germans. As an excellent flying talent, he was transferred to a secret air combat squadron called "Battlehawks". The main opponent of the Battlehaws is the German Air Force , but especially the "Nemesis Squadron" commanded by Colonel Krieger, which is a kind of German counterpart to the Battlehawks. This special combat squadron consists of German elite pilots and is used for extraordinary operations (similar to the formerly existing Kampfgeschwader 200 ). In some missions, Chase is also transferred to the Pacific War to fight together with the Flying Tigers against the Japanese Empire , which is supported by Nemesis. One more mission takes him to Stalingrad and another to North Africa .

In Secret Weapons Over Normandy the player has many different aircraft and aircraft equipment at his disposal, some of which, however, were never used in a dogfight or were not used in the locations shown in the game. There are also other historical errors in the game from time to time.

Aircraft from Star Wars: X-Wing, TIE Fighter. After all 15 campaign missions have been successfully completed, the player can choose from these two space fighters from the Star Wars films. However, these can only be used in instant action mode.
