action

The American Harry Steele is an adventurer from America. He works as a tourist guide in Cusco , Peru . But this only serves as a cover for his real activity, which is to find the sacred treasure of the Incas. It's a work of art that looks like a sun but is made up of diamonds, precious stones, and pure gold. It is sacred to the Incas and is extremely valuable. His dubious partner Ed Morgan also wants this treasure and is ready to kill for it if he has to.

One day he finds an object that allows him to find this treasure, and when later a Romanian woman who fled the communists and wants to enter America appears, he sees the opportunity with her help to get a Romanian official's plane there to steal to fly to Machu Picchu , the place where the treasure is. In return, he helps bring her to America. She agrees and steals the plane. This takes them to Machu Picchu, where an archaeological expedition led by Doctor Stanley Moorehead is operating.

Additionally, Morgan followed them when he realized what Harry was up to and urged him to be involved. Harry, however, intends to deceive him and without the others noticing he is hiding the treasure. Morgan, however, has foreseen his plan and robbed him, but has to flee when he is disturbed by local residents. He manages to escape, but Harry correctly guesses where he is going, catches up with him and takes the treasure back, with Morgan making a wrong move in his greed and falling off a cliff.

After recovering the treasure, Harry, worried by the greed that killed Morgan, decides to give the treasure to its rightful owners, the Indians , so that they can reposition it in the Sun Temple where it once was. Later, Harry goes to America with Elena, where they get engaged because they fell in love with each other during that time.

Reviews

“The fabulous backdrop of the (real) Peruvian Inca city is worth taking a look at this film, which is, however, tarnished again by the flat dialogues. But those who persevere will be rewarded with three songs by the acting cult singer Yma Sumac. "

"Naive adventure film with a lot of studio scenery."
