Seifula Seferowitsch Magomedow ( Russian Сейфула Сеферович Магомедов ; born May 15, 1983 in Makhachkala ) is a Russian Taekwondoin . It starts in the lightest weight class up to 54 kilograms. With four European championship titles, he is the most successful Russian Taekwondoin at European championships.

Magomedov celebrated his first successes in the junior division. In 1999 he became Junior European Champion in Nicosia , the following year he won bronze at the Junior World Championship in Killarney . He has been part of the Russian national team since 2001. At his first adult world championship in 2001 in Jeju-si , he was able to move into the semifinals in the class up to 58 kilograms and win bronze, the following year he also won his first European championship medal with bronze in Samsun . The year 2004 was also successful. Magomedow moved into the final of the European Championships in Lillehammer and won silver. He qualified in the class up to 58 kilograms for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , but had to accept an opening defeat and was eliminated. Magomedow won his first title at a major championship at the 2006 European Championship in Bonn . He won the class up to 54 kilograms. He successfully defended the title in Rome in 2008 , in Saint Petersburg in 2010 and in Manchester in 2012 .

Magomedov is a graduate of the Dagestan State Agricultural Academy.
