Sejitsultan Ayimbetov

Sejitsultan Süleimenuly Äjimbetow ( Kazakh Сейітсұлтан Сүлейменұлы Әйімбетов , Russian Сеитсултан Сулейменович Аимбетов Seitsultan Suleimenowitsch Aimbetow * 15. July 1947 ) is a Kazakh politician .

Life

Sejitsultan Ayimbetov was born in 1947 in Syrdarija County in the Qysylorda region. After graduating from school, he attended the Institute for Economics in Alma-Ata . There he made his degree in economics in 1969.

Ayimbetov began his professional career in the Ministry of Finance of the Kazakh Soviet Republic. There he initially worked as an auditor and later held various positions up to the head of the main budget department of the ministry. After Kazakhstan's independence in 1992, he became chairman of the State Audit Committee in the Kazakh Cabinet of Ministers. From October 1995, he held the post of Minister for Social Protection in Prime Minister Äkeschan Qaschygeldin's cabinet . After about a year he had to leave the post and instead became the first deputy minister for labor and social protection. After structural changes in the ministry, he left the civil service in 1997 and instead became managing director of KazakhAudit. In December 1998, however, he returned to the civil service as he was offered a post in the presidential administration.

In January 2001, Ayimbetov became Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office, and in January of the next year he was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan. After working for the Kazakh government for two years, he returned to the civil service in December 2002 and became a state inspector in the presidential administration. After the parliamentary elections in 2007 he became a member of the Mäschilis for the presidential party Nur Otan . Here he was first a member of the Finance and Budget Committee and from September 2010 chairman of the Committee for Economic Reform and Regional Development. Even after the 2012 election , Ayimbetov remained a member of parliament.
