The Regensburg section of the German Alpine Club (DAV) e. V. ( DAV Regensburg for short ) is a section of the German Alpine Club in Regensburg . It was founded on March 3, 1870. The DAV Regensburg is one of the oldest and with 18,068 members (as of December 31, 2019) one of the largest sections of the German Alpine Club in 10th place and one of the largest sports clubs in Germany .
