Sendelbach is one of ten officially named districts of the Rentweinsdorf market in Lower Franconia .

The village is located about two kilometers south-southeast of Rentweinsdorf and is at an altitude of 261  m above sea level. NHN .

history

A "Senntinabach im Banzgau" was mentioned in a document in 804. It is assumed that it is Sendelbach. Another mention followed in 1352 when Ludwig von Rotenhan received half of the tithe in "Sendelbach".

Due to the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became an independent rural community, to which the village of Graefenholz also belonged. As part of the municipal reform in Bavaria carried out in the 1970s , the municipality of Sendelbach was incorporated into the Rentweinsdorf market on January 1, 1978. In 2014 Sendelbach had 101 inhabitants.
