The transmitter Süderlügum is a transmitter ( transmitter for short ) of the German radio tower , which is located in the community Süderlügum north of Niebüll . A 123 meter high transmission mast in the form of a guyed lattice mast is used as the antenna carrier.
The transmitter previously served as the basic network transmitter for analog television, which was switched off in the course of the introduction of DVB-T . Today the transmitter is still used to broadcast radio signals.
