List of transmission towers in Stuttgart
This list of the transmission towers in Stuttgart gives an overview of the structures built for radio services in the VHF and UHF range in the city area. In addition to broadcasting radio ( UKW , DAB ) and television programs ( DVB-T ), the transmission towers are used for directional radio , non-public land service ( BOS radio ) and mobile radio . They are designed as free-standing concrete or steel towers and, with the exception of the Stuttgart TV tower, one of Stuttgart's landmarks , are not open to the public. However, numerous of these towers are not to be overlooked in the cityscape of the Baden-Württemberg state capital.
