Senna Miangue (born February 5, 1997 in Antwerp , Flanders ) is a Belgian football player of Congolese descent. He has been under contract with Cagliari Calcio since 2017 and has been loaned to Belgian first division KAS Eupen for the 2020/21 season.

Career

In his hometown, Senna Miangue began his football career at Beerschot AC and moved to Italy in the youth department of Inter Milan for the 2013/14 season . For the 2016/17 season he was promoted to the first team of Inter Milan. He made his Serie A debut on August 28, 2016. In the 1-1 draw against US Palermo , he was substituted on by coach Frank de Boer in the 68th minute for Davide Santon . After making his starting line-up debut in the league game against FC Bologna on September 25, 2016 , he made his international debut in the 3-1 defeat by Sparta Prague .

After he was only used five times in the first half series, Senna Miangue was loaned to the second half of the season to league rivals Cagliari Calcio . There he made his debut on January 29, 2017 in a 1-1 draw against FC Bologna and was substituted on in the 78th minute by coach Massimo Rastelli for Luca Ceppitelli . Although he was only used four times in the second half of the season, Cagliari Calcio signed him permanently from Inter Milan and he received a contract until 2022. For the 2018/19 season he was awarded to the Belgian cup winner Standard Liège .

During the two-year loan, he played nine league and one cup matches from Standard Liège. There is also a game for the reserve team. At the end of the 2019/20 season, this loan was not extended. On July 7th, 2020 there was another loan to Belgium: this time for the 2020/21 season to KAS Eupen .

For the Belgian Football Association he played 40 international youth matches (no goals). In the meantime, due to his age, he is no longer eligible to play for the U21 national team. He was not appointed to the senior national team until December 2019.
