Serena Michelotti
Maria Serena Michelotti (born October 2, 1944 in Meran , South Tyrol , † July 19, 2011 in Rome ) was an Italian actress and voice actress .
Life
Serena Michelotti, born Maria Serena Michelotti , began her career as a film actress as a child. At the age of ten she played the role of Cassandra in the episode film L'amante di Paride (1954) directed by Marc Allégret . She had another child role in 1957 as Valeria in the film drama The most beautiful moment by director Luciano Emmer .
In the US film drama A Touch of Sensuality (1969) she played the role of Lucia, directed by Sidney Lumet , on the side of Omar Sharif and Anouk Aimée . In the western comedy The Thick in Mexico (Si può fare… amigo) (1972) she took on the role of the widow Warren; her partners were Bud Spencer and Jack Palance .
Later in her film career, she played character roles, such as the role of Aldo's mother in the comedy film Chiedimi se sono felice (2000) and her sister Amela in the television film Don Gnocchi - L'angelo dei bimbi (2004) by Cinzia TH Torrini , one of the Second World War playing authentic portrayal of episodes from the life of the now beatified Italian priest Carlo Gnocchi . She also appeared in Italian television series in the 1970s .
However, Michelotti was best known in Italy as a voice actress. In the Italian dubbed version of the television series The Simpsons , she spoke the recurring series role of Agnes Skinner, the adoptive mother of the principal Seymour Skinner. In the cinema she lent her voice to the following actresses, among others: Dana Ivey in Nix wie raus aus Orange County , (role: Vera Gantner), Margo Martindale in Who Rides With the Devil (role: Wilma Brown), Frantisek Velecký in Brothers Grimm (role : Old Woman, Witch), Mary O'Riordan in The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) (role: Peggy) and Fatima El Hadi in the Italian-Moroccan film Al malaika la tuhaliq fi al-dar albayda (Italian title: A Casablanca gli angeli non volano ; role: Said's mother).
