Ardaschew started in Vershina Tjoi for the first time in the Eastern-Europe-Cup in November 2017 and finished 33th and second in the sprint and seventh place over 15 km freestyle. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2018 in Goms , he won the bronze medal with the relay and the silver medal over 10 km classic. He also achieved ninth place in the skiathlon there . In March 2018 he was in Syktyvkar Russian junior champion over 10km freestyle and in the sprint. At the end of the season, he finished seventh in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season he clinched his first classic victory in the Eastern Europe Cup in Werschina Tjoi over 15 km. In addition, he won third place in the sprint and achieved second place in the sprint in Krasnogorsk and third place in the sprint in Syktywkar later this season . He finished eighth in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. At the U23 World Championships in Lahti in 2019 , he won the silver medal in the sprint. He made his debut in the World Cup in January 2019 in Dresden , which he finished in 50th place in the sprint. After first place in the sprint at the Eastern Europe Cup in Werschina Tjoi at the start of the 2019/20 season, he scored his first World Cup points in Oberstdorf with eleventh place in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal , he won the silver medal in the 30 km mass start race and with the relay and the gold medal over 15 km classic.
