Economy and Infrastructure
Balesino is an important station on the main line of the Trans-Siberian Railway (route kilometers 1192 from Moscow ). Here all trains have a longer stop to change locomotives, as the section coming from the west and operated by the Gorkier Railway with 25 kV 50 Hz alternating current ends here; the route to the east in the direction of Perm and Yekaterinburg is electrified with 3000 V direct current (operated by the Sverdlovsk Railway from km 1220 ; however, its locomotives run to Balesino). A good twenty kilometers to the east, near Pibanschur , the cross-connection branches off via Izhevsk to Agrys on the parallel route Moscow- Kazan- Ekaterinburg, for which Balesino is also a separation station .
In addition to rail transport companies, there are companies in the timber and construction industries and light industry in Balesino.
West of the settlement, the regional road leads R321 of Glasow after Igra past when connection to the M7 -Zweigstrecke Kazan Izhevsk-Perm is.
