Sergei Pareiko ( Russian Сергей Викторович Парейко ; born January 31, 1977 in Tallinn ) is a former Estonian football goalkeeper .
Career
Pareiko began his professional career at the Estonian club Tallinna Sadam , for whom he played as a regular goalkeeper for four years. This was followed by a detour to Italy to AS Casale . After a season he returned to Estonia for FC Levadia Tallinn . There he played one season before moving to the Russian club Rotor Volgograd and later to Tom Tomsk .
During the winter break of the 2010/11 season , Pareiko signed a contract with Wisła Krakow until 2012 . At his new employer, Pareiko was named Player of the Month for March 2011 by supporters of the Krakow club after just one month , ahead of Maor Melikson and Patryk Małecki . In his first season in Poland Pareiko secured three game days before the end of the season with a 1-0 against Cracovia Krakow the championship title with Wisła. From 2013 to 2015 he played for the Russian first division club Volga Nizhny Novgorod before returning to Estonia to FC Levadia Tallinn in March 2015 .
National team
Pareiko plays for the Estonian national team. He made his debut on August 31, 1996 in a game against Belarus , when he came on in the 8th minute for the injured Mart Poom .
