Sergei Wjatscheslawowitsch Olchowzew ( Russian Сергей Вячеславович Ольховцев ; born October 19, 1987 in the Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Titan Klin in the Wysschaja Hockey League .

Career

Sergei Olchowzew began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose second team he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the third-rate Pervaya League . He then ran for two years for the professional team of Kapitan Stupino in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, where he ended the 2007/08 season at its league rivals ZSK WWS Samara . In the 2008/09 season, the defender joined the Latvian club HK Liepājas Metalurgs in the Belarusian extra league . In 43 games he scored ten points, including one goal.

During the 2009/10 season Olchowzew was under contract with Krylya Sowetow Moscow in the Wysschaya League. In the 2010/11 season he was on the ice for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Continental Hockey League . In his rookie year in the KHL, he gave one assist in 27 games.
