Sergio Porrini (born November 8, 1968 in Milan ) is a former Italian football player . Porrini mostly plays as a center or right-back in the back four .

Career

In the club

Sergio Porrini began his career in the youth of AC Milan , but was not used in the professional team. He therefore moved to Atalanta Bergamo in 1989 , where he made his Serie A debut and later became a regular.

For the 1993/94 season Porrini moved to the Italian record champions Juventus Turin , where he spent the most successful time of his career. With Juve he won, initially under Giovanni Trapattoni and later under Marcello Lippi , a. a. two Italian championships and the UEFA Champions League .

After four years in Turin , Porrini moved to the Scottish top club Glasgow Rangers , where he again played for four years. With the Rangers he was able to celebrate two national championship titles and two cup wins.
