The Serjoscha ( Russian Серёжа ) is a right tributary of the Tjoscha in the Russian Oblast of Nizhny Novgorod .
The Serjosha rises 10 km north of Perewos . It flows mainly in a westerly direction. The places Kriuscha and Tschernucha lie on the river. Finally, the Serjoscha flows into the Tjoscha 25 km east of Murom - 44 km above its mouth into the Oka .
The Serjoscha has a length of 196 km. It drains an area of 2730 km². There are karst phenomena on the upper and middle reaches of the Serjoscha . The Serjoscha is mainly fed by the snowmelt . In April and May it leads to floods . The mean discharge 71 km above the mouth is 2.4 m³ / s. The river is ice-covered between November / early December to April.
