Sevillanas is a Spanish documentary from 1992 directed by Carlos Saura about the development of the flamenco genre Sevillana . The film presents the best-known performers of this genre in various scenes and includes a. the last filmed appearance of Camarón , who died of lung cancer shortly after the recordings .

In the course of the film, Saura has the musicians and dancers involved introduce ten Sevillanas with different characters. For example, De Lebrija danced by older couples with a rural character, boleras from the 18th century, very classically danced Clásicas or flamencas and gitanas influenced by flamenco .
