Shōjo Comic ( Japanese 少女 コ ミ ッ ク , also Shōkomi , Shōcomi or Sho-Comi ) is a Japanese manga magazine that is aimed at a young female audience and therefore belongs to the Shōjo category. The magazine has been published by Shogakukan since 1968 . After initially being published monthly, it came out twice a month from 1969 to 1970 and was then published weekly. Since 1978 Shōjo Comic has been published again with two issues per month.
