Shannon Kane (born September 14, 1986 in Kalamazoo , Michigan ) is an American actress and model .
Life
Shannon Kane grew up in her hometown of Kalamazoo. She started dancing when she was seven. After graduating from Portage Central in 2003, she began studying dance at Western Michigan University on a scholarship . However, since the university did not support professional dancers, she dropped out of her studies, moved to Chicago and began working as a model for Elite Model Management . She posed for magazines such as Cosmopolitan , Glamor and Teen Vogue , among others .
In 2006 she made her debut as an actress on the hit television series CSI: Miami . After two brief appearances in Entourage and Shadow of Passion , she got the role of Natalia Fowler in 2008, which she played in 171 episodes of the daily soap All My Children from 2008 to 2011 . Since then, she has appeared in films such as Blood and Bone , Law of the Road - Brooklyn's Finest and SWAT: Firefight , before she starred again in the Hollywood Heights television series in 2012 . Since 2013 she can be seen as Sabine in the spin-off to Vampire Diaries , The Originals .
