Shannon Lee
Shannon Emery Lee (born April 19, 1969 in Santa Monica , California ) is an American actress and businesswoman .
Life
She is the daughter of martial arts film stars Bruce Lee and Linda Lee Cadwell and sister of Brandon Lee .
As a child, she lived in Los Angeles and Hong Kong alike. At the age of 17/18 she moved to New Orleans , in the US state Louisiana, where she attended Tulane University. There she received her BFA in vocal performance and appeared in various musicals, operas and concerts. In 1993 Lee returned to Los Angeles to work as an actress.
After many roles as an actress in films such as Blade in 1998 and Torus in 2001 , Lee has also been active as a producer. In 2008 she produced the 50 episodes of the biography series Li Xiao Long chuan qi and in 2009 the documentary How Bruce Lee Changed the World .
Today Lee is CEO of the Bruce Lee Family Companies and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Bruce Lee Foundation. She is the mother of a daughter.
