Shannon Malseed (born December 27, 1994 in Narrawong ) is an Australian cyclist .

Athletic career

Shannon Malseed began her athletic career as a swimmer and then switched to triathlon . It showed that cycling was their strongest individual discipline. After completing several cycling races, she became aware of the Holden Women's Cycling Team in 2013 and signed her.

In 2015 Shannon Malseed was the Australian U23 champion in the criterion . The following year she won the road race at the Oceania Championships. In 2017 she won silver in the road race of the Oceania Championships and was again the U23 criterion champion.

In 2018 Malseed moved to the US UCI Women's Team TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank . In the same year, she became the Australian elite road racing champion in her home town of Ballarat . This also qualified her for participation in the Commonwealth Games in April 2018 in the Australian Gold Coast , where she finished 24th in road racing.
