Rochelle Gilmore (born December 14, 1981 in Sutherland ) is a former Australian cyclist who was equally successful on track and road . At the end of her active career, she became a team manager.
Athletic career
Rochelle Gilmore in 1999 Vice World Champion of the juniors in the points race ; at the Oceania Championships she took third place in the same discipline. Twice, in 2002 and 2003 , she was also Vice World Champion in scratch . In 2004 she was also the Australian Scratch Champion. In 2005 she won the points race at the Oceania Championships.
In 2002 Gilmore took first place in the Geelong Bay Classics , and in 2007 she was Oceanic Road Race Champion. In 2009 she won the Sparkassen Giro Bochum . In 2010 she took third place in the overall ranking of the Tour of Chongming Island, part of the women's cycling world cup . In addition, she was able to record many stage wins as well as top places in tours such as the Qatar Tour , the Route de France Féminine , the Giro d'Italia Femminile and the Tour of New Zealand . In 2015 Gilmore retired from active cycling.
Professional
In 2012 Gilmore founded the women's cycling team Wiggle Honda and was its manager until it was dissolved at the end of 2018.
