Sharon Next is a darkwave / alternative band from Vienna that has been active since the early 1990s and is a fixture in the relevant Gothic wave scene.
history
In 1997 Carlos Perón (founding member of the band Yello ) produced their debut album. With the first album in their luggage, Sharon Next played in the opening act for bands such as VNV Nation , The Crüxshadows , Anne Clark , Blutengel and Wayne Hussey .
For the album Fast Farewell , Sharon Next toured with Diary of Dreams in 2013 . Due to the response to the song Der Hase , an EP was released that also includes remixes by Nico Wieditz ( And One ), Sebastian Komor ( Icon of Coil ), and Sami ( Faderhead ). The EP made it to number 1 on the EAC charts and was also represented in the DAC charts. In 2015 the CD Auto.One followed .
